how i work

what to expect from a divination session:

i hold divination as a practice of receiving information from spirit, aka the organizing intelligence underlying all things, nature, earth, cosmos, etc.

readings with me are up to 90 minutes, depending on the needs of the session, and begin with a ceremonial opening and guided visualization to step into an energetic container together and call forward compassionate spirits to support our work. 

for me, divination is question-based — some folks love to ask a lot of specific questions and take very detailed notes, while others would rather me guide the questioning and are more interested in the experience itself, with or without notes.

using your chart or the cards as a guide, i’ll channel information, sometimes pausing to offer optional ‘drop-ins’ — guided explorations in the body’s inner landscape to work in a more embodied way with whatever comes up. afterwards we’ll explore any necessary next steps for integrating the session and finish by closing the space. 

overall, our work together is meant to be an experience we co-create, so you will be encouraged to ask questions, give feedback, listen to your body and advocate for your boundaries and capacity while we work.

  • my standard rate is $100/hour. i book tarot sessions at 30 or 60 minutes, or astrology sessions for 90 minutes, unless you are a returning client.

    ps — i am only able to perform this work in this way by maintaining relationships with the earth, land and helping spirits. i make physical offerings on behalf of most sessions, but you may also feel called to make your own as well — some common examples are fruit, incense, fresh water, cornmeal, alcohol or tobacco, offered at an altar or somewhere in nature where they won’t be received as trash. you are making this offering not to me, but to spirit, on your own behalf. that said, any truly generative actions you take in service of life that result from the session are also an offering back to the web of life.

    final note: please do not make any offerings to me, send me any energy, etc without my explicit consent. i’m happy to answer any questions about this. <3

  • I keep open some availability in each season for discounted sessions for those who would benefit but may not otherwise be able to access this work.

    when requesting a solidarity (discounted) or scholarship (free) session, please specify what you are able to afford when you fill out the contact form.

    I do not need to know your reasons and my preference is that you do not justify your situation to me, but simply state what you can afford at this time.

    I have some availability to trade for the following services:

    • light carpentry / handy-person work

    • land-tending, gardening type work

    • body-work

    • yoga or movement classes

    • occasionally art, divination or other spiritual services

  • i cannot offer refunds on payments. 

    it’s totally fine to reschedule a session — life happens and you don’t have to explain or justify your reasons to me! please just reach out and communicate. 

    if you miss a session you’ve paid for without communicating, i will keep your fee to compensate for my scheduled time. 

  • all sessions are completely confidential.  i will not share any identifying or personal information from your session without your explicit permission. 

    you are welcome to share any material that i share or that is personal to you or your process from our session(s) at your discretion. however, if what you’re sharing seems to be intellectual property or personal to me, you can always check in about it.

    please note: i am not providing training or certification in these sessions. any work, practices, teachings, theory, methodology, etc that i share can be shared on a peer basis with clarity about where you experienced it, but please do not present yourself as a teacher of anything i share without discussing it with me first.
